Hastings Square - San Francisco, CAThis was a developer-team's submission for the development of the Hastings School of Law's property at San Francisco's Civic Center. The program requirements included a student campus, The Superior Courts of San Francisco, an office building, a new student housing, neighborhood retail, parking garage and senior housing. This creative proposal envisions arranging these mixed-uses in a layer-cake type system that generated a rooftop campus safely above the incongruous neighborhood. Added benefits of this proposal included a student activity center as part of the rooftop campus, a campus-unifying bridge across Hyde Street, a legal hotel-conference center in the existing 27 floor McAllister Tower, and a new market-rate housing tower.
